Georgia’s House is a homeless shelter, For the past seven years we have been staffed by a group of dedicated volunteers; but we need your help to do so. We provides services to the most vulnerable of the population, the low-income homeless and displaced women and children.
To provide the services needed for our clients we need volunteers like you with a warm heart, not afraid to offer empathy or show compassion; willing to sit and listen to their stories without judgement or condemnation. If this describes you then you know you are the perfect person for the job. We offer shifts around your time, as we know time is valuable and accepting of what you have to offer.
While considering this position keep in mine that most of our clients have never experienced any of the qualities expressed above, you can make a difference in their lives and the lives of their children.
